"I've been blessed to be associated with the Gardens Hotel for several years and have married many guests during that time. Each ceremony is very special to me..." Michael Vernon, The Conch Concierge
Conch Concierge wedding services are available to guests of the Gardens Hotel for both on-site ceremonies and at local beaches such as Smathers Beach and the beach at Ft. Zachary Taylor. The grounds are lovely at the Gardens Hotel, but if your party exceeds 10 persons (the maximum considered for ceremonies on site) you will want to consider a ceremony at the Key West Garden Club at West Martello/Higgs Beach (about 1 mile from the Gardens Hotel) or the Key West Botanical Garden on Stock Island (about 5 miles away). Nancy's Secret Garden is another nearby possibility (just 1 block), though the very friendly and talkative parrots and macaws must be considered.
My wedding packages begin at just $100 for the simple "I Do" ceremony which is offered from 10am to 4pm daily and includes officiant and 10 minutes of photography time.
The "I Do, I Do" (my most popular) includes transportation to the beach or garden, officiant and 30 minutes of digital photography.
For Saturday ceremonies the Carefree Weddings package ($300) is offered at sunset and the Carefree with Flowers ($400) includes a professionally designed tropical bouquet and boutonniere from a creative local florist.
Please note site or location fees are not included in these fees and and vary depending on the location. Smathers Beach is owned by the City of Key West and is currently free to use for weddings. Otherwise locations fees generally range from $100 to $500 at most places. Please call Michael Vernon at 305.292.2292 to discuss specific arrangements or confirm your ceremony.
Please review the simple ceremony confirmation contract which will become part of your confirmation. If you prefer to email, my reservation request will relay the basic details I'll need to respond to your ceremony request.
Thanks for finding me and considering my services! I look forward to meeting you in the (click to hear the story of the birth of the Conch Republic as told by Sea Lord Admiral Finbar Gittleman) Conch Republic!
