Yes. It's true. As it does every year, the Key West City Commission agreed to offer residents
and visitors alike free metered parking from December 19 to December 25, 2009. The one
caveat this year is it will be for only 2 hours. So enjoy shopping and strolling through Old Town
Key West. Have a breakfast, lunch or dinner. Check out a movie at the local Tropic Cinema
(the new Peggy Dow theatre just opened with a 4 week long run of the hilarious, "Pirate Radio."
Just remember, you've got a 2 hour limit.
